This is awesome…I want one so bad now! The dune buggy that can fly

The dune buggy that can fly –SkyRunner is a dune buggy with large wheels and wide tires which now can be used to fly in the sky just like an aircraft. You can use it on roads, off roads, sand dunes, beaches or desert recreation. The video was first published on Jan 31, 2014 by CNNMoney and since then it has racked up about 6 lakh  YouTube views. The people are eagerly waiting for this machine to hit the market so that they could enjoy the ride in SkyRunner.

This is very fast moving machine as it goes from 0 to 60 in just 4 seconds. It’s runs at the top speed of 115 miles an hour. Stewart Hamel, CEO of SkyRunner tells us about this machine. He tells that when you transmission from road mode to air mode it takes parachute out of the back engaged to the props and when you move the car the parachute goes up in the air, the prop work separate from the wheels. So when about 30 feet, when you engage the prop, give it thrust, the parachute comes over your head and about 300 feet, 35 miles an hour, you gonna get fly. In the air you get about 85 miles an hour. You are limited to 10,000 feet above the ground. For a pilot it is several times easier to take off and land.

There are gas paddles in this machine to get the thrust. Before landing if you think you are coming down little fast then you can just push the gas paddle and you can land safely at required speed. This machine is very easy to take off and land. It’s design look alike the machine used in movies, especially in James bond movies or Batman film. Its a sort of wealthy adventures sport. This is very beneficial for the farmers who lend helicopters and spend 1500 dollars per hour. They can easily afford this machine and can save lots of money. The engineers have been working on this machine for about 2-3 years and now the machine is ready is hit the market. Most probable it will come into the market this year.
